SB

The SB pump is capable of pumping slurries which have settled out and needs to be removed.

A. The motor chamber is filled with oil which lubricates the bearings and the seal faces and assist in dissipation of heat.

B. Motor windings are manufactured in all standard voltages for both 50 and 60 hertz power supply.

C. The waterway design provides cooling and permits continuous operation without motor submergence.

D. The sealed oil filled motor chamber is fitted with a moisture detector to detect water entering into the motor housing.

E. Double mechanical seals are at submergence pressure (not at discharge pressure). The internal lubrication causes pressure on seal faces.

F. The external agitator breaks down and re-suspends compacted solids, hereby assisting the pump to transfer a higher percentage of solids.

G. The twin volute design provides a balanced radial thrust for optimum operation of cantilever shaft.

H. High capacity matched pair angular contact thrust bearings provide high capacity for the handling of high specific gravity slurries.

WET-END CONFIGURATIONS
Added flexibility is provided with different wet-end designs to meet various slurry requirements.

ADVANTAGES OF BOTTOM SUCTION CONFIGURATION
  • The design allows for fully, partial and non-submerged conditions.
  • The twin volute casing is designed to balance hydraulic forces exerted on the pump shaft during operation. This promotes extended bearing and mechanical seal life.
  • The agitator at the inlet to the impeller breaks down and re-suspends compacted solids thereby, assisting the pump to transfer a higher percentage of solids.
  • All the pumps can be supplied certified to flameproof specification.
  • Submergence depth up to 20m H20.
  • All pumps have double mechanical seals for improved sealing of the motor.
  • Dry run
